America is in the midst of the one of the most severe economic crisis in its history. One of the sectors of the economy most severely impacted by this crisis is housing. Neighborhood Housing Solutions is uniquely equipped to provide assistance to local communities to help them build up neighborhoods by making housing affordable so individuals and families can live in a decent, safe environment.

The Housing Crisis In America

It’s all over the news. In markets all across the country home sales are deteriorating, new construction has slowed to a trickle, and inventories of unsold homes are rising. Even though low mortgage rates and falling prices have made homes more affordable in many markets, these affordability gains have been offset for many buyers by tighter lending standards, larger down payment requirements, and higher credit scores. Now, more than ever, public/nonprofit organizations and private sector companies must come together to create innovative programs to assist potential buyers to be able to purchase homes.

Our Mission

Neighborhood Housing Solutions, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Arizona corporation founded in 2009 whose primary mission is to build up neighborhoods and communities by making housing more affordable whether it involves increasing the affordable inventory by acquisition, rehab or new construction of single family and/or multifamily housing, or by providing innovative financing programs to promote homeownership.
